NEW NOISE

Temples of the Dysyntaxic Sonambulist are entering the studio to continue refining their impossibly hard to categorize sounds and I am so excited to hear what these two are coming up with next. Fairly sure as always these two are going to continue to push the boundaries of what is "Electro" and what is "Noise". Proud to announce that this duo has decided on a 33/3 rpm 7" release. The A side has already been 80% recorded and the B side is shaping up nicely. Be prepared for an assault on your preconceptions with these two at the helm!

Thomas Fyshe Palmer. This one man noise group TFP is, as always, being incredibly secretive about his movements and his sounds. All I do know is that he is half a side in on his new album and it is sounding incredibly dark...let's see how it ends!

In other Thomas Fyshe Palmer news, he and the enigmatic Rhinoslumber (best known for the self released full length "Overlocker" CD) have agreed to a split Cassette release. TFP is all ready to go and Rhino is putting the finishing touches on his half. Expect 35 minutes of noise ranging from harsh ambience to rhythmic bursts of darkness!

We have started talks with a new Black Metal project out of Australia named "Varrim" these guys are a recording group only as they all have commitments with other groups but this is some very bleak music they are creating.

RUPTURE "BEST OF"

Ok the songs have been chosen! They are getting remastered right now and put into the final song order! Also it's had a bit of a name change, Stumbles has asked to change the album title to "JUBILEE" so... Coming soon!

OTHER NEWS

Also stay tuned for the CD release of the Australian Black Metal duo "Goat Rapist" on R.I.P! At this stage we are just waiting on the final artwork before the CD goes in for manufacture!

Also I had a brief chat with Leemo from such bands as Suffer, Clenched Teeth and the band in question at this stage "Negative Reinforcement"! We maybe doing their first 7" release together. At this time nothing set in concrete but fingers crossed!

I have seen one of the first proofs for the Massgrav / DxP split cover and my god Kalem has done a kick ass job! Once he is happy with all images I will post them up!

And final news for today...the KK Null release is so close I can almost hear it!!!

Greatest Hates

That’s right people thanks to Kandar Mosh Distro, Marco the Monkey Motherfucker and us here at Rest In Punk there will finally be a "Best Of" compilation release of the hardest working, most reviled band in Australian history…Rupture! This CD will feature around 45 songs (handpicked by Mr Stumblefuck himself) from every aspect of their notorious past!

RUPTURE "SHAT FROM THE TOMB" 5 INCH

Tonight while I was cleaning my old cover art proofs and running through unused covers and plastic slips I stumbled across three copies of the Rupture 5" Shat from the Tomb! These are the very very last copies I have. Two are standard black and one is clear, I haven't got a copy of the black in my personal collection so I want to keep it (unless you make a damn good offer for it) but that leaves one clear and one black for sale.

These are DEFINATELY the very last of my stock and once they are gone there will be no more!

OTHER RUPTURE NEWS

Dzul from Dead Beat Shop and Kandar Mosh Distro has let me know that the cover art for the Rupture anthology release we are working on together, along with Marco from Scarey Records, has been approved by Mr Stumblefuck himself! As soon as I have a proof I'll post it up!

I have also spoken to Stumbles and we are going to re-release "Shat from the Tomb" on 7 inch with a couple of bonus tracks in the next six months, so I'll keep you all updated as we proceed!
